I’m going to do something a little different today. I am going to cross-post from my other blog because I thought it might be nice to have a fun, light-hearted post and well, dogs are cute and they make me smile. Hopefully you will smile, too.
As you may or may not know, I write another blog called Raising Rama about my Cane Corso Rama, following her life as our family pet, show dog, obedience dog and therapy dog hopeful. I’ve been unable to show her since my first surgery and I can’t bear to send her out with a handler, so she’s been here with me constantly, watching out for us and keeping me company during the long, often boring days and nights as I go through this process.
There’s been a lot of family here since my first surgery. I am not permitted to do things like housework or lifting anything more than ten pounds, which is kind of hard when you have a toddler and a dog that weighs about as much as your teenager. They have been alternating weeks, bringing their pups, gifts, food. I am so thankful to all of them. I thought I’d share the blog post since they have been so instrumental in this process of healing. You can read it here.
